Happy Valentine's Everybody!
So, hopefully by now you've all gotten your loved ones a Valentine's card...don't forget! There's nothing as good as bein' in love!
I want to let everybody know our true myspace address. We've had some trouble with our previous one. Someone hacked in and changed our password, now they're illegally selling our music on it as well. So just so you know, our correct myspace is: www.myspace.com/honideatonmusic
Thank you to all our fans for supporting us at our shows. We had an awesome time in Kentucky! We're looking forward to heading out West in a couple of weeks. I hope you all have a fantastic Valentine's Day!
Love, Honi

Hello Everyone!
I hope you are all doing well and have had marvelous summers. After a very hot and dry spell here in Suwanee, GA, we are finally getting some very much needed rain....yay! The downside to it... we were rained out for the Lawrenceville, GA show. Thank you to everyone who came out in spite of the rain...you are brave amphibious folks! The city has already booked us back for next year, so we hope to see you again and get to actually play for you! We do have several Georgia gigs coming up soon, so be sure to check our schedule and hopefully we can see you there! Have a great week!

Ellijay & Suwanee, GA
Hey Everybody! What a weekend! It's really nice to get to play shows here at home in Georgia, Sweet Georgia! We played for the ETC festival in Ellijay on Saturday and I just want to say what a great sound crew! It's so nice to go a show and work with such professional folks. After the show was over, we hi-tailed it back to Suwanee to close out the Everett's Music Barn benefit '07. If you've never been to Everett's Music Barn, you should check it out. Every Saturday night the Everett Brothers Band put on a great show as well as many other talented bluegrass bands. There's always lots of jamming too. Thank you to all our friends and family who came to support us at the shows, and thank to our new friends and fans as well. We had such a great time. We're looking forward to playing tomorrow in Athens, GA at The Melting Point...should be lots of fun! Hope you all have a great weekend! See you soon!

Berryville Virginia Show
Hey Everybody, We had a wonderful time Saterday in Berryville Va. We played a Matinee show and then an evening show which was sold out!
It was us and IIIRD TYME OUT. They all sounded great as usual. Steve told some hilarious jokes. And Alan Perdue is a cutup.
We had the honor of seeing the Legendary Bill Yates sitting in the crowd watching our show, We love you Bill.
The Crowd was wonderful in Berryville and we will be coming back to see you folks again next year. Thank you all for your ongoing support in Va
A lot of people ask us what kind of Instruments we play. Josh has several Banjo's which he loves to take apart each week HA HA. He has a Frank Neat Prototype which is a killer, and he also has a Scruggs model which is real good. Jeff plays Blueridge Guitars exclusively. Honi has an old Epiphone bass probably in the late 30's which gives us our distinctive sound.I can hear her bass in another room and pick it out of a lineup because of its tone.I have several different mandolins,England big body, and My Pete Hart " Buckeye" which is a Hoss. Andy plays a handmade guitar by a builder in Va. Dennis Johnson, and also an old 30's model Dobro.

Cruise
Hey Everybody we had a wonderful time on the Bell Buckle Cruise. It was cloudy a couple days, but then the sunshine came out and the wheather was great!!!!
We had alot of good food and heard alot of good music.
I enjoyed seeing my ole buddys Barry Barrier and Shannon Slaughter from the Lonesome River Band.  We went up to our friends Jimmy and Sherry Ross's room(from Georgia) and picked until about 4:00 in the morning. We had a great night of fellowship.
I met some wonderful folks from Missouri, Dale and Lynn Diermann, I now call my friends.
Barry Barrier can do the best impression of Lester Flatt I've ever heard!
It was a great Vacation with Bluegrass Music as a Bonus!!!   Everyone make plans now to attend next year and Be a guest of the Dream Team!!!

Safe in Idaho
Well, we made it.  We arrived in Caldwell, ID last night, Friday, at around 11:00pm.  Let us tell ya, it is a long drive from Santa Fe, NM to Caldwell, ID.

The concert in Albuquerque, NM on Wednesday went great.  We played to a full house and met alot of great people.  Our hats off to Steve and all of the fine folks from Southwest Pickers and also to Old Blue Sound for providing such great sound for the show.  We also really enjoyed seeing and hearing the youngsters that provided the entertainment for all of the folks coming into the facilities.  It is great to see young people getting into bluegrass and acoustic music.

We didn't realize that it snowed too much in New Mexico.  We pulled in Santa Fe, NM on Thursday morning to slushy roads and threatening snow showers.  Jeff and all of the Folks at the Santa Fe Brewing Company were just great.  We walked into the Restaurant not knowing what to expect.  To our delight, there were families with about ten young girls ages 7 - 12 running and playing all over the restaurant.  It made us feel like a bunch of kids.  The show went great and the food was superb.

Tonight, we are performing at the Jewett Auditorium in Caldwell, ID.  We anticipate a huge crowd.  Last year was our first year at the Jewett and we had right at 700 people.  We hope to sell out this year with almost 900 people.  It should be a great time.

Trying to stay warm,
Honi Deaton & Dream
